Gua Sha | Facial Massage

The Practice
Gua Sha is a traditional Chinese massage technique involving gentle scraping and long, flowing strokes over the skin to stimulate circulation, promote lymphatic drainage, and release built-up tension. While it's known today for its beautifying effects, gua sha is deeply rooted in centuries of healing practice - a ritual that benefits both body and spirit.
In facial gua sha, we work with acupressure meridian points beneath the skin that correspond to specific organs and energy systems in the body. As we lift and sculpt the face, we also support internal balance and energetic flow - beautifying the skin while nurturing your whole system.
This treatment incorporates Kansa gua sha tools, a sacred Ayurvedic alloy of copper and tin known as “the healing metal.” Used since Vedic times, Kansa helps balance skin pH, reduce inflammation, and draw out heat and stagnation from the skin.
Benefits & Support
More than a facial, gua sha is a full-body wellness ritual in disguise. It softens tension held in the face, jaw, and neck, supports detoxification, and encourages a deep state of rest. Each session helps reset your nervous system, while visibly revitalizing your skin.
