Transforming Workplaces through Menstrual Health Education

Menstruality, Well-Being & Productivity

In today's competitive business environment, understanding and addressing the unique needs of female employees is not just a matter of inclusivity and policy - it is a strategic advantage. Our groundbreaking training module is informed by extensive research from e.g. Radboud UMC and corroborated by global studies, revealing how menstrual cycles impact productivity, presence, and well-being at work.

This comprehensive training is designed to empower your employees by educating them about their menstrual cycles, the effects on brain chemistry, and the consequent implications for work-life balance. Participants will learn to recognize the strengths and challenges they may face during different phases of their cycle and how to strategically plan their work to optimize both productivity and personal well-being.

Proven Impact

Significant Reduction in Absenteeism

Studies, including a 2017 survey by Radboud UMC, consistently show that menstrual discomfort significantly contributes to absenteeism in the workplace. Our training effectively addresses these issues, promoting strategies that decrease absentee rates, which on average can be as high as 13.8%.

Boost in Productivity

This program tackles the often-overlooked issue of presenteeism due to menstrual symptoms, which can lead to a 33% drop in productivity. This equates to approximately 8.9 lost work days per employee annually. By implementing proactive health management, employees can maintain higher levels of productivity consistently.

Enhanced Employee Well-being

Aligning with findings from multiple countries, our training acknowledges the need for flexibility during menstrual cycles, a change desired by over 67% of women. Our training provides the employees with techniques to plan their work in ways that are in line with their own rhythms.

Global Relevance and Support

Reflecting global concerns, similar results from the UK, US, Pakistan, India, Sweden, and Australia emphasize the universal benefits of menstrual health education. Research indicates that informed and supportive workplaces tend to have higher morale and reduced cycle-related symptoms, leading to a more engaged workforce.

Empirical Support

Additional research from the World Health Organization and various workplace studies support our training's approach, highlighting that addressing menstrual health can lead to a healthier, more productive workforce across different cultural contexts.
